And so it begins…
Since I admitted that I wanted to do it professionally, I did stand-up for the first time. It was in front of an audience of 12 in a mostly empty venue.
Some of my jokes dropped, but most of my set solicited laughs. One joke killed. All in all, I did well and I realized that this comedy thing is what I truly want to do with my life. If there is any truth to Malcolm Gladwell’s 10,000 hours theory, I have 590,000 more minutes.
